Descriptions

Crown Puretech introduces its cutting-edge Ultra-Violet (UV) Filtration System, a state-of-the-art solution designed to ensure water purity through the disinfection power of ultraviolet light. Our UV System is a reliable and efficient method for eliminating harmful microorganisms, providing an additional layer of protection to guarantee safe and clean water.

Our UV System guarantees microbial safety by effectively deactivating bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, ensuring the delivery of clean and safe water.

Molecular Weight Selectivity

Our UF System selectively targets impurities with molecular weights higher than water, offering a high level of precision in water purification. This molecular sieving process ensures the removal of contaminants, setting the stage for pristine water quality.

Premium Quality Membrane

The heart of our UF System lies in its premium quality membrane. Engineered for superior performance, this membrane acts as an effective barrier, allowing only pure water molecules to pass through while blocking solid impurities, microorganisms, and other contaminants.

Effective Pre-Treatment for Reverse Osmosis (RO)

The UF System plays a pivotal role as an effective pre-treatment to the Reverse Osmosis process. By removing larger impurities before RO, it enhances the overall efficiency and lifespan of the RO system, contributing to optimized water purification.

Versatility for Commercial and Industrial Use

Crown Puretech's UF System is designed for versatility, catering to both commercial and industrial applications. Whether for businesses, institutions, or industrial processes, our UF system delivers consistent and reliable water treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Water passes through a chamber where a UV-C lamp emits light at a germicidal wavelength. The UV dose damages the DNA of bacteria, viruses and protozoa so they cannot reproduce or cause infection. It is a physical process - nothing is added to the water and nothing is left behind.
No. UV disinfects, it does not filter. It has no effect on dissolved salts, hardness, heavy metals, chlorine or organic chemicals, and it does not change taste or colour. If those are your concern, UV must be combined with RO, softening or carbon filtration.
UV is placed at the end, as the final disinfection stage, after filtration has already removed turbidity and suspended matter. Clear water is essential: particles shield micro-organisms from the light, so a UV unit installed on turbid water gives a false sense of safety.
UV lamps lose output long before they visibly stop glowing, so they are replaced on a service interval rather than on failure - typically annually for continuous-duty units. The quartz sleeve also needs periodic cleaning, because scale or film on the sleeve blocks the UV dose reaching the water.
No. UV disinfects water only at the point it passes through the chamber and leaves no residual disinfectant. If the water will be stored or travel a long distribution line afterwards, a residual disinfectant such as chlorine may still be needed to prevent recontamination downstream.
Drinking water lines, RO post-disinfection, food and beverage process water, pharmaceutical and laboratory water, hotels, hospitals and swimming pools - anywhere reliable disinfection is required without adding chemicals or altering the taste of the water.
