PSF (Pressure Sand Filter)
Graded sand and gravel layers trap suspended solids, silt and turbidity, giving clear water for further treatment.

PARTICLES IN? CLEANER WATER OUT.
A media filtration system passes water through one or more beds of graded filter media inside a pressure vessel. Each media holds back a different impurity, so the right combination clears raw water before it is used, stored or sent on to RO, softening or disinfection.
Crown Puretech designs and supplies media filters for homes, buildings and industry: pressure sand filters for suspended solids and turbidity, activated carbon filters for chlorine, odour, colour and organics, and specialty media for iron, fluoride and fine particles. Filters are backwashed to clean the bed and keep the flow steady.
Specialised filter media capture suspended solids and selected impurities. Depending on the media, systems can target turbidity, residual chlorine, odour, and other specific water-quality issues.
Let the media handle the mess.

Media Filtration System
Residential
Sediment and taste/odour pretreatment.
Commercial
Building water supplies and central filtration.
Industrial
Pretreatment for RO and process-water systems.
Graded sand and gravel layers trap suspended solids, silt and turbidity, giving clear water for further treatment.
Activated carbon adsorbs free chlorine, odour, colour and organic matter, improving taste and protecting RO membranes.
Specialty media remove dissolved iron and fluoride, while anthracite gives deeper, faster filtration of fine particles.
